In 2008 celebrity chef Jean-Robert was able to lend a hand in the kitchen and with the support of fantastic sponsors, Give Back Cincinnati prepared yet another amazing meal and exciting event for all patrons.  Over 1,000 meals were served as guests from all parts of Cincinnati enjoyed musical entertainment and activities for children.  The Country's Largest Thanksgiving Day Bird provided a unique culinary treat for all guests.  This Bird was compliments of Event Founder and Sponsor, Charlie Hall.  Of course, huge thanks went out to Duke Energy Center for continuing to roll out the red carpet for this event.

2006 was a stepping stone for Fall Feast as the venue moved to the Duke Energy Center.  This new home would be able to provide the capacity for the event to expand for the next 10 + years.  Further building upon the vision the team had for creating new traditions and serving the masses on Thanksgiving Day.

Ron Hall, the fearless leader in the kitchen had been charged to lead the meal preparation in 2006 and 2007.  For those of you who are not aware of the undertaking; it means asking for the food (for free please), laying out the kitchen and tasks of the wonderful volunteer wait staff, prepping food for 4 days before day of event and then making sure the Turkey comes out of the oven just right.  Lucky for us he knew what he was doing and was able to prepare over 1,000 meals for 750 guests both years.  Guests enjoyed not only great food but also musical entertainment, visits from local sports team’s mascots, local celebrities, and sharing time with others in the community.

In 2005 Give Back Cincinnati made Fall Feast come to life.  The vision was created and over 250 guests from the local community were served in the Verdin Bell Center located in Over-The-Rhine.  Local Chefs from various eateries were able to assist with the meal preparation while volunteers were able to produce a restaurant-type atmosphere for guests; from being greeted by the hostess to being served by the waiters.  Local celebrity Carson Palmer even stopped by for a guest appearance to wish patrons a Happy Thanksgiving.

The Founding:  A long-time sponsor of Give Back Cincinnati, Charlie Hall from Alpine Valley Water proposed the idea of creating a community meal modeled after the HUGE meal that occurs every year in Houston.
